“We’re really a unique family owned and operated property managed by Martha Bruening and Cory Bruening with personal, friendly service we pride ourselves on.  Martha takes pride in overseeing the cleanliness of our rooms and training the staff to maintain our friendly guest services.  Many of the staff have been with us for over 8 years and now are part of the Pines family. 

In our continuing effort to decrease a carbon footprint, we have installed over 140 solar panels,  built a saltwater pool with variable speed pump, installed the area’s first Tesla charging stations at a lodging venue, installed a filtered water station where guests can fill their refillable bottles with free chilled and filtered water, eliminated single use plastics and wasted bars of soap, resourced locally roasted coffee for the rooms, and xeriscape areas with native plant species with no extra irrigation.    Because of this and other environmental efforts, the inn is Certified Green by the Arizona Lodging & Tourism Association and Certified Silver by the Sustainability Alliance of Arizona.
